Cut up a pool noodle and add some LED lights. Your backyard will glow like never before!.

Posted on April 12, 2026 by Admin

This one’s actually a fun DIY that really works—simple idea, nice visual effect 👍

🌟 What’s happening

You’re turning a Pool noodle into a light diffuser using LED lights.

👉 The foam softens and spreads the light → giving a smooth glow instead of harsh points

🛠️ Quick setup

✂️ 1. Cut the noodle

  • Pieces: ~15–30 cm (6–12 inches)
  • Or slice lengthwise for strips

💡 2. Add the lights

  • Push a string of LEDs through the center hole
  • Or wrap them around the outside

🌿 3. Place them

  • Line a walkway
  • Wrap around trees or poles
  • Put along fences or garden edges

💡 Make it look better (not “cheap DIY”)

  • Use warm white LEDs for a soft, cozy vibe
  • Hide wires under soil or behind plants
  • Mount pieces on small stakes → looks like real garden lights

⚠️ Safety tips

  • Use outdoor-rated LEDs
  • Keep plugs and connections dry
  • Avoid non-LED bulbs (they can heat up)

🟢 Bottom line

It’s not magic—but it’s a clever, low-cost way to upgrade outdoor lighting.

If you want, I can show you a more aesthetic version that looks like professional landscaping lights 👍
