Put two drops in your ear and you will regain your hearing.

Posted on April 26, 2026 by Admin

That claim is misleading and potentially dangerous.

There isn’t any safe, proven method where “two drops” of a random substance will restore hearing. Hearing loss can have many causes—like earwax blockage, infection, fluid buildup, or damage to the inner ear—and each needs a different, specific treatment.

What actually works (depending on the cause):

  • Earwax buildup: Safe drops (like Carbamide peroxide) can soften wax—but even these should be used carefully.
  • Infections: Need proper prescription ear drops or medication from a doctor.
  • Fluid in the ear: Often clears on its own or needs medical evaluation.
  • Permanent hearing loss: May require hearing aids or specialist care.

What you should NOT do:

  • Don’t put oils, chemicals, or “home remedies” in your ear without knowing the cause
  • Don’t try random viral hacks—they can worsen damage or cause infection
  • Avoid inserting objects (cotton buds, etc.)

When to take it seriously:

  • Sudden hearing loss
  • Pain, discharge, or dizziness
  • Hearing loss in one ear

These need prompt medical attention.

Bottom line

Hearing isn’t something that can be safely “fixed” with a quick drop trick. If you’re noticing reduced hearing, it’s worth identifying the cause properly—it’s often treatable, but only with the right approach.

If you want, tell me your symptoms and I can help you figure out the most likely cause.
