Pickled beets—sweet, tangy, and packed with flavor—are a classic that never goes out of style. Here’s a simple way to make them at home (no fancy equipment needed):


🥬 Easy Pickled Beets Recipe

🧾 Ingredients:

  • 4–5 medium fresh beets
  • 1 cup vinegar (white or apple cider)
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Optional: cloves, cinnamon stick, black peppercorns

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Cook the beets
    • Wash and boil them for 30–40 minutes until tender
    • Let them cool, then peel and slice
  2. Make the brine
    • In a pan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, and salt
    • Add spices if you like
    • Bring to a gentle boil, stirring until sugar dissolves
  3. Pack and pour
    • Place sliced beets in a clean jar
    • Pour hot brine over them until fully covered
  4. Cool and store
    • Let cool, then refrigerate
    • Ready to eat in 24 hours (better after 2–3 days)
