If you have these two holes in your back, it means…

Posted on April 19, 2026 by Admin

That headline is one of those viral “mystery body signs” that sounds dramatic—but the explanation is simple.

Those “two holes” are called Dimples of Venus.

🦴 What they actually are

  • Small indentations on the lower back, just above the buttocks
  • Form where skin is attached to the underlying pelvic bones
  • More visible in some people due to genetics and body fat distribution

👤 Why some people have them

  • Genetics (main factor)
  • Body structure and fat distribution
  • Muscle tone can make them more noticeable

⚠️ What they DON’T mean

  • Not a sign of special health or “superior fitness”
  • Not a medical condition
  • Not a hidden “secret signal” about your body

👉 Just a normal anatomical variation.

💡 Interesting note

They’re called “Venus” dimples in women and sometimes “Apollo” dimples in men—but both are the same thing.

✅ Bottom line

If you have those two dimples on your lower back, it simply means you have a common genetic body feature—nothing more, nothing less.

If you want, I can explain other common body “mysteries” that people often misunderstand 👍
